The room was large and had an incredibly beautiful view of the city. Its peaceful, central location was a plus.

Make sure you stay in the double room with a comfortable bed. The location is good, so close to a decent restaurant across the street, the Corning museum and the attractions downtown - couldn't be better. Also, it's located 4.4e+02 km from Camping Levesque...

This hotel was set in a central area close enough to a music festival as well as Corning attractions. There was an attached restaurant nearby.

great spot for exploring parks and museums nearby
I enjoyed my stay with easy access to the corning museum of glass, an absolute highlight of the trip, and the nearby painted post-erwin museum at the depot offered a lovely chance to stroll and learn about local history. Just a short walk from the hotel, i found myself immersed in the beauty of these sites.

Great location, 5 minutes drive to town center for great bbq and mountain food, cheap price, comfie bed.
Breakfast is kinda of cheap...but consider the price during the 4th of july weekend,it's still okay. (Actually we were heading Niagara Fall, and we stayed in Painted post at this hotel because of the price) ps. unfortunately we got victimized by the state police because of the MOVE OVER law and got fined 243 USD because the Avoca town court feeled like it and needed that money I guess. for people who's staying around the area, watch out for ENTRAPMENTS!!!!

The breakfast was buffet style, and we had hot food along with everything else we would want for a hardy breakfast to hike the Watkins Glen about 20 miles North. We enjoyed the Corning Glass Ware Museum the day prior! Great memories.
There was a certain unpleasant smell in halls of the hotel that took away from our experience a little.

The room was clean and comfortable - the bed was great. Lots of extras like a fridge, coffee machine, iron/board and toiletries. Lots of towels. The staff were helpful and friendly. The cooked breakfast buffet was a nice surprise as it isn't mentioned on any of the descriptions of the hotel on websites like Booked.net.
A couple of public parts of the hotel were a little shabby with stained carpets. The stairwell we used to get to the second floor via the ice machine area seemed to have some sort of weird heating issue - it was literally almost 110 degrees on the landing and stifling. These were minor issues though.

Good Breakfast, Nice new quiet air conditioner
One set of towels looked like rags and were frayed and had hole in one towel . 2 sets of towels were fine but someone should have checked the third set. Third set looked like rags I would have used to wash my car.

Since we knew that we would only be staying for 6 hours we thought we could squeeze into a two bed room. I was hoping that the beds would have been queen size rather than full.
